Mrunal Thakur, in a blue bikini, didn’t go down well with a section of the masses. They made Sita Ramam references and mentioned how they don’t like their Sita like 'this'. Some also mentioned that Mrunal is the ‘only heroine they don’t want to see like this’.

Mrunal Thakur is a part of Nani 30. The mahurat shot took place in Hyderabad in February this year. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Mrunal expressed her excitement for the film. She said, "I am doing this film with Nani, which is a beautiful script that I have ever read and I am extremely proud to be associated with the entire team. It's director Shouryuv's debut film. I think I'm extremely blessed to have gotten that role and it wouldn't be possible if I had not done Sita (Ramam)."
