Sikh Truck Driver Harjinder Singh, from Stockton, is now facing extradition to Florida after being charged with three counts of vehicular homicide in a deadly crash.

Investigators say Singh caused the accident by making an illegal U-turn across all lanes of Florida’s Turnpike, leading to a collision that killed three people.

Singh waived extradition and could also face deportation. Federal records show he entered the U.S. illegally in 2018 before obtaining a California commercial driver’s license, raising political questions over immigration and licensing policies.
