Unacceptable Hate: Targeting Truckers

The image speaks for itself. Following tragic accidents and deaths because of few Truck drivers, the entire community of Indian and Sikh truckers is facing a shocking surge of backlash and blatant racism across the US, particularly in Florida.

The graffiti on the truck trailer, "Deport This RAGHEAD," is a vile display of hate. This is not about one mistake; it's the ugly use of tragedy to fuel xenophobia and target an entire group of hardworking people, many of whom are Sikh and integral to the American trucking industry.

🚫 Racism is NOT the answer: We must condemn this hatred and stop the scapegoating of an entire community for the actions of a few individuals.

🚚 Sikhs are the backbone of trucking: The Sikh community makes up a significant portion of the US trucking workforce—they keep America moving.

📢 Demand respect and fair treatment: Every person deserves to work free from fear, harassment, and racist slurs.
