Diwali at Times Square 2025 Celebrating 10th Anniversary in North America

Sammaan For All is excited to announce the return of Diwali at Times Square, on October 12, 2025, celebrating the 10th anniversary at the largest crossroads of the World. This year in partnership with San Francisco, California, and Toronto, Canada, conveying the true meaning of Diwali by spreading the message of love, peace, harmony and togetherness.

The Consulate General of India in New York, hosted a press conference on September 10, 2025. Consul General Binaya Srikanta Pradhan extended his warm support to the 10th anniversary celebrations, “Diwali at Times Square has become an extraordinary celebration of India’s vibrant heritage and the universal message of light triumphing over darkness. It highlights the deep bonds between India and the United States, bringing together communities of all backgrounds in the heart of New York City.”

Neeta Bhasin, the founder and producer of 'Diwali at Times Square’ proudly unveiled the program for the 10th anniversary. She also acknowledged the Office of Faith-Based and Community Partnerships of NYC their support to Diwali at Times Square’s mission to celebrate the diversity of India and America. Neeta Bhasin shared the program for the upcoming festival starting with an Awards and Gala Dinner on October 10, 2025, where the incredible contributions of Indian Americans in the field of
Philanthropy, Innovation, Medicine and Entrepreneurship will be honored followed by the Diwali at Times Square festival on October 12, 2025 and the partnership with the Dussehra Diwali Dhamaka Festival in San Francisco, California, and the Diwali Festival of Lights in Toronto, Canada, both held on October 11 and 12, 2025.
