2021 India’s Republic Day: FISANA organized Patriotic Live programfor Seniors of North America on YouTube / Facebook-FISANA.

By Vijay Shah: Federation of Indian American Seniors Association of North America (FISANA) is a non - profit organization established with an aim to serve the Indo- American Seniors in Tri- State region. The core purpose of the association is to develop a consensual, coordinated & integrated approach to common needs and goals of senior residing in this region. FISANA is the largest esteemed national umbrella organization in the Indo-American senior citizen community in USA. It is located in Middlesex County with managing body of 20 other seniors association of New Jersey. FISANA represents over 10,000 strong and vibrant Asian Indian senior citizens who provide significant grass root support. They care, concerned and committed to do good for the old / elderly aged people. The 2021 year of digital world made FISANA proud to launch “MAVTAR NI MAHEK – Patriotic tribute program” which was grand show watched over 2000 seniors on YouTube and Facebook, which displayed the Indian Patriotic cultural songs to the new generation. We all have grown up watching the Republic Day parade either on television or at Rajpath. Our heart fills with pride as we witness our tiranga unfurling. Since no celebration is complete without a Bollywood twist, there are several songs that beautifully captures the spirit of patriotism from ‘Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawanon Kaa’ from the movie ‘Naya Daur’ to ‘Main Lad Jaana’ from the movie ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’, or even most valued touching to heart song from Kesari. Over the years Indian Cinema has gifted us some of the beautiful tracks, however old they are, they are evergreen and soothing to the ears. On our 72nd Independence Day, Chairman Dipak Shah, President Ratilal Patel & General Secretory Vishnu Patel looked back into the days of severe sacrifice and struggle put by our independence fighters, their relentless vigor this year's celebration captured the inspiration from patriotic songs. The musical instrumentation, technical aspects of sound, selection of songs and top of continuity in flow was remarkable. Sruhadam Entertainment of Vishnu Patel with organizer and singer Priyanka Basu,MukhtarShah, Sani Shah, Gautamkumar, Nilesh Vyas and Parishi Verma added much value to singing and rhythmic vocal. Special thanks extended to all viewers, sponsors and supporters to pull on the patriotic program for seniors of North America. Also thanking to entire team of orchestra for great performance within two hours of span.
