Cruise drug bust: Mumbai court grants NCB custody of Aryan Khan, 2 others till October 4

A Mumbai Court has granted the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, and two other accused till October 4 in connection with the cruise ship drug case.

Special Prosecutor for the NCB, advocate Advait Sethna had filed for two-day custody of the accused.

However, Satish Maneshinde, appearing for Aryan Khan, asked the court to remand Aryan Khan to one-day custody so that regular court can hear the bail application of his client.

Satish Maneshinde argued, “Factually, it is known that offences are bailable. Aryan Khan was invited by the organiser as a special invite. He did not have ticket or even a boarding pass. Ultimately he reached the premises of the dock."

The counsel stated that the NCB officials did not find anything in his bag. He further argued that even though the NCB went through his phone chats, nothing has been found.

“As nothing is found from him, they have requested 2-day remand. I request court to grant 1-day police custody, so we can go to regular court,” Satish Maheshinde said.
