  The trailer of Parineeti Chopra-starrer The Girl On The Train is now out and it promises an intriguing ride. The mystery thriller film is based on Paula Hawkins' 2015 book of the same name. The Girl On The Train will be released on Netflix on February 26.
THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN TRAILER
The trailer begins with Parineeti introducing herself as Mira Kapoor as she watches a couple live their life peacefully. "She is everything I have lost," says Mira as she fixates on the lives of the happy couple. Seconds into the trailer, a murder is commited and Mira becomes one of the suspects. The trailer also hints that Mira is suffering from Amnesia.Sharing the trailer on Twitter, Parineeti Chopra wrote, "THE GIRL IN THE TRAILER. 26th Feb, Netflix!"
THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN TRAILER DATE ANNOUNCEMENT
On Tuesday (February 2), Parineeti took to Twitter and shared the trailer release date along with a new poster of the film. She had written, "TRAILER OUT TOMORROW!," along with a folded hands and heart emoji.

Earlier, Parineeti Chopra had shared the release date of the film on social media.
The film will be available for streaming on Netflix from February 26. Parineeti had also shared the film's teaser along with the release date and wrote, "THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN LETS DO THIS! 26th Feb, only on Netflix. #TGOTT (sic)."

After watching the film's teaser, Priyanka Chopra had expressed her excitement over the release on social media. “Proud of my girl. Can’t wait to see more @ParineetiChopra,” she wrote along with a two-hearts emoji.
ABOUT THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN
The Girl on the Train follows the story of Mira (played by Parineeti Chopra), a divorcee who observes the perfect life of a couple from a distance during her daily commutes on the train. One day, after witnessing something that shocks her, Meera decides to unravel the truth.
The Girl On The Train is set in the UK and also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary. It is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The Girl on the Train also has a Hollywood version that released in 2016 and starred Emily Blunt in the lead role.
