Pakistan's FIA directed to act against people behind superimposing Imran Khan as Lord Shiva

A sub-committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Government Assurances has taken notice of an incident where Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan's picture was superimposed on Lord Shiva.

The incident was reported by Ramesh Lal, Member National Assembly.

The pictures went viral on social media and the authorities were forced to take notice amid pressure from Lal.

The committee has ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate and identify those behind the mischief.

Shiva is a Hindu God and to show him as a politician is blasphemy, said Lal.

The issue was referred to the sub-committee by the main committee to examine complaints made by MNAs Ramesh Lal and Lal Chand Malhi, who said that the picture has hurt the sentiments of Hindu community.
