Greater Noida: Woman 'gagged', 'gangraped' by two men in car on Yamuna Expressway

A short while later, Malik also asked the other accused, 26-year-old Sajid to join them in the ride.   Agra: In yet another incident of alleged sexual assault against women, a 24-year-old woman has alleged that she was gang-raped by two youth on the Yamuna Expressway, while she was on her way home from work on Saturday. The woman works at a private firm in Greater Noida, the Times of India reported. Recounting the sequence of events, the girl alleged in the police complaint, which was filed on Sunday, that she was offered a lift in a car by 28-year-old Salman Malik, who was her acquaintance, at around 5 pm. A short while later, Malik also asked the other accused, 26-year-old Sajid to join them in the ride. Following this, the girl said that they drove towards the expressway where they raped her, TOI reported.

The woman further said that the duo gagged her and raised the volume of the stereo in the case as they took turns to rape her, as per the TOI report. The medical examination of the woman has already been conducted, though the police were awaiting the results. On the other hand, the accused have refuted all the charges. According to the police, the woman, who hails from Meerut, told them that Malik had dropped her home previously as well, and hence she did decide to take up his offer for the second time.
